I am a data scientist working at Booking.com with the Connected Trip Insights team. I have a PhD in Computer Science (IR, NLP, ML) at the Delft University of Technology (TU Delft) under the supervision of Claudia Hauff.
I was born in Minas Gerais, Brazil. There I obtained my BSc and MSc degrees in computer science from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG), where I worked in the information retrieval lab during my master and the data science and system performance lab during my bachelor. During my study I was a research intern at the University of Quebec in Montreal, visiting researcher at New York University and software engineering intern at startup company Zunnit Technologies.
